We’re excited to share that Chace, a talented student, has been recognized in the province-wide Digital Ad competition organized by the Alberta Student Transportation Advisory Council (ASTAC). Competing against students from across Alberta in grades 9-12, Chace's creative digital ad stood out and earned him this incredible achievement.
Chace's achievement was rewarded with a $100 cash prize and a $300 donated field trip for his school. His ad will also be featured on the ASTAC website, where school divisions and contractors across Alberta can use it to help recruit school bus operators.
"We would like to thank Chace for the creativity and dedication shown in this project," ASTAC shared in their announcement, adding that they’re proud to feature his ad as a valuable tool for transportation recruitment.
When asked how he felt about the accomplishment, Chace shared, "I feel great right now. I am really proud to be able to do this, feeling blessed." Principal Elaine Ernst also asked him if digital marketing could be in his future, to which Chace responded, "This could be an option in the future."
At Lakeland Catholic, Chace’s achievement is a shining example of the excellence we strive to cultivate in all our students. We’re committed to helping each student grow and succeed by providing the tools and opportunities they need to thrive. We’re grateful to our dedicated staff for creating an environment where students can reach their full potential.
We are incredibly proud of Chace’s accomplishment and can’t wait to celebrate many more student successes in the future.
